MacKayla rides a 2-Wheeler!!!

The day finally came...MacKayla said she wanted her training wheels off. She wanted to ride her 2-wheeler on her own. As a parent, this is one of those moments where you see all the scrapes, cutes, broken bones and everything else happening, especially for a child that is, shall we say, a little accident prone. But we did it anyway, you can't hinder a child's progress...

MacKayla is as excited as can be!
All ready with her helmet on, thank goodness.

With a little help from dad, she was off and going.

That wasn't to say we were without incident.
Luckily they were all minor falls.
However, we did need to do some serious teaching
about when it's ok to scream bloody murder!

She did it! She could not have been more proud of herself!
So, she gave herself a little victory dance!
